Hello, my name is David and I was born in South Africa, in Durban…I didn’t quite make to Addington’s labour unit, as I decided to emerge from the womb on the driveway to Addington hospital on the beach front…the emergency room medics were in attendance to sort my Mother and I out, when my Father in a blind panic, burst through the hospital doors to announce the occurrence in his car…this same hospital and beach front area, was conducive to the development of my corporeal potential in later years…
When I was born in 1964, ‘The Chinese Year Of The Dragon’, there were a few worldwide occurrences worth noting…Dr. Martin Luther King won the Nobel Peace Prize, the Beatles made their first trip to the USA, Jack Ruby was sentenced to death, Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment, Sidney Poitier was the first black ‘Oscar’ winner, Britain and France agreed to build a tunnel underneath the English Channel, Ranger spacecraft was launched to the moon with TV cameras and so on and so on…
We thought up the name ‘Maasterpieces’, when my sister and I were in discussion about aspirations…we always wanted to set up a business together and call it that…Maas being our surname…
I set up ‘Maasterpieces’ as my trade mark when I started my own ‘biker’s gang’…I was the only member of this gang, was the captain and my name was ‘Slowly’…it seemed like a good idea at the time…
My circumstances changed and I set up ‘Maasterpieces’ again as a business…it was a packaging factory and my business grew and grew, with regard to productivity and financial gain, because I’d learned about acquisitions and corporate takeovers…these were all legitimate and above board and I found that the more I gave, the more I got back…with the release of Mandela from prison, the political climate changed and I found that being a crippled white person, I would have no chance of existing in South Africa under its new found freedoms and I left the country…

‘Maasterpieces’ came with me to the UK and has developed further and now is my business name, in terms of an information source for myself and those I wish to share with, which is the whole world, or anyone who is knowledge hungry …
For my part, I literally rose from the dead as a human being and was in awe at the knowledge I’d observed after I’d died…this lead me to firm conviction of, without knowledge, a human being is not civilised…
‘Maasterpieces’ is an honest and legitimate business…I will not rip anyone off, as some unscrupulous businesses in the past, have ripped me off…
